Employability Training - Project: Working in partnership with local Jobcentre Plus’ the training and support we offer aims to get people back into employment or further training as soon as possible. Achieved by concentrating on several key areas:

  • Creating a new C.V.
  • Creating covering letters and speculative letters to send to employers
  • Interview techniques
  • Areas of personal development such as confidence building

Inventory to Work Attitude Motivation (iWAM) - A learner completes a multi-choice questionnaire about their attitude and motivation towards work, which benefits them in the following ways:

  • Highlights areas of development
  • Provides a list of suitable job roles for the learner
  • Flags up possible barriers to work
  • Lets them show prospective employers their abilities and provides further information for their C.V.

Think Positive - A programme is tailored to support JSA customers where they have been recognised to have key barriers to work. It enables them to gain sustainable employment by: Identifying transferable skills; Increasing motivation – redress low aspirations; Improving interpersonal skills; Undertaking a flexible work placement.
